The true Shepherd of God!

(Ezekiel 34:1) And the Word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

(Ezekiel 34:2) Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, Thus says the Lord Jehovah to the shepherds: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

(Ezekiel 34:3) You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock.

(Ezekiel 34:4) The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them.

(Ezekiel 34:5) So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered.

(Ezekiel 34:6) My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill; yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and no one was seeking or searching for them.

(Ezekiel 34:7) Therefore, you shepherds, hear the Word of Jehovah:

(Ezekiel 34:8) As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food for every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock;

(Ezekiel 34:9) therefore, O shepherds, hear the Word of Jehovah!

(Ezekiel 34:10) Thus says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.

(Ezekiel 34:11) For thus says the Lord Jehovah: Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.

(Ezekiel 34:12) As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.

(Ezekiel 34:13) And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the lands, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the dwelling places of the land.

(Ezekiel 34:14) I will feed them in a good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

(Ezekiel 34:15) I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down, declares the Lord Jehovah.

(Ezekiel 34:16) I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them with judgment.

(Ezekiel 34:17) And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and he goats.

(Ezekiel 34:18) Is it a small thing for you to have eaten up the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to have drunk of the clear waters, that you must foul the rest with your feet?

(Ezekiel 34:19) And as for My flock, they eat what you have trampled with your feet, and they drink what you have fouled with your feet.

(Ezekiel 34:20) Therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah to them: Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

(Ezekiel 34:21) Because you have pushed with side and shoulder, thrust at all the weak ones with your horns, and scattered them abroad,

(Ezekiel 34:22) therefore I will save My flock, and they shall no longer be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

(Ezekiel 34:23) I will raise up one Shepherd over them, and He shall feed them; My servant David. He shall feed them and be their Shepherd.

(Ezekiel 34:24) And I, Jehovah, will be their God, and My Servant David a prince among them; I, Jehovah, have spoken.

(Ezekiel 34:25) I will make a covenant of peace with them, and remove the evil beasts out of the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the wooded forests.

(Ezekiel 34:26) And I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.

(Ezekiel 34:27) Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.

(Ezekiel 34:28) And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid.

(Ezekiel 34:29) I will raise up for them a notable plantation, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the nations any more.

(Ezekiel 34:30) Thus they shall know that I, Jehovah their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people, declares the Lord Jehovah.

(Ezekiel 34:31) And you men, the flock of My pasture, are My flock; and I am your God, declares the Lord Jehovah.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! What a Father! What a Comfort! What a Joy! Jesus is LORD-

(John 10:1) Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

(John 10:2) But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

(John 10:3) To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

(John 10:4) And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

(John 10:5) Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.

(John 10:6) Jesus spoke this parable, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.

(John 10:7) Then Jesus said to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

(John 10:8) All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

(John 10:9) I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

(John 10:10) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

(John 10:11) I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

(John 10:12) But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.

(John 10:13) The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.

(John 10:14) I am the Good Shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.

(John 10:15) As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

(John 10:16) And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must lead, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one Shepherd.

(John 10:17) Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

(John 10:18) No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. This precept I have received from My Father.

(John 10:19) Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these words.

(John 10:20) And many of them said, He has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?

(John 10:21) Others said, These are not the words of one who has a demon. A demon is not able to open the eyes of the blind.

(John 10:22) Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter.

(John 10:23) And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch.

(John 10:24) Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.

(John 10:25) Jesus answered them, I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness concerning Me.

(John 10:26) But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.

(John 10:27) My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

(John 10:28) And I give them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

(John 10:29) My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one has the power to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

(John 10:30) I and the Father are One.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! What a Shepherd! What a LORD! What a God-

(Acts 20:1) After the uproar had ceased, Paul called the disciples to himself, embraced them, and departed to go to Macedonia.

(Acts 20:2) Now when he had passed through that region and encouraged them with many words, he came to Greece

(Acts 20:3) and stayed three months. And when the Jews plotted against him as he was about to sail to Syria, he decided to return through Macedonia.

(Acts 20:4) And Sopater of Berea accompanied him to Asia; also Aristarchus and Secundus of the Thessalonians, and Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia.

(Acts 20:5) These men, going ahead, waited for us at Troas.

(Acts 20:6) But we sailed away from Philippi after the Days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days came to them at Troas, where we stayed seven days.

(Acts 20:7) Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.

(Acts 20:8) And there were many lamps in the upper room where they were gathered together.

(Acts 20:9) And in a window sat a certain young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep. He was overcome by sleep; and as Paul continued speaking, he fell down from the third story and was taken up dead.

(Acts 20:10) But Paul went down, fell on him, and embracing him said, Do not be troubled, for his life is in him.

(Acts 20:11) Now when he had come up, had broken bread and eaten, and talked a long while, even till daybreak, he departed.

(Acts 20:12) And they brought the young man in alive, and they were not a little comforted.

(Acts 20:13) Then we went ahead to the ship and sailed to Assos, there intending to take Paul on board; for so it was arranged, intending himself to go on foot.

(Acts 20:14) And when he met us at Assos, we took him on board and came to Mitylene.

(Acts 20:15) And we sailed from there, and the next day came opposite Chios. And the following day we arrived at Samos and stayed at Trogyllium. The next day we came to Miletus.

(Acts 20:16) For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might not spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the Day of Pentecost.

(Acts 20:17) So, from Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church.

(Acts 20:18) And when they had come to him, he said to them: You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I lived among you all the time,

(Acts 20:19) serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews;

(Acts 20:20) how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house,

(Acts 20:21) testifying both to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Acts 20:22) And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,

(Acts 20:23) except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions await me.

(Acts 20:24) But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

(Acts 20:25) And behold now, I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

(Acts 20:26) Therefore I testify to you this day that I am blameless from the blood of everyone.

(Acts 20:27) For I have not shrunk back from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

(Acts 20:28) Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

(Acts 20:29) For I know this, that after my departure vicious wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

(Acts 20:30) Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

(Acts 20:31) Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.

(Acts 20:32) So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

(Acts 20:33) I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel.

(Acts 20:34) Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have served for my necessities, and for those who were with me.

(Acts 20:35) I have shown you in everything, by laboring like this, that we need to support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

(Acts 20:36) And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

(Acts 20:37) Then they all wept greatly, and fell on Paul’s neck and kissed him again and again,

(Acts 20:38) sorrowing most of all for the words which he spoke, that they would see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.

What a True shepherd of God! What a Bondservant of Jesus Christ! this is our patten!

In the name of Jesus we are boldly declare:

We Obey His Voice Now-

(Hebrews 13:8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.

(Hebrews 13:9) Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

(Hebrews 13:10) We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.

(Hebrews 13:11) For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.

(Hebrews 13:12) Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

(Hebrews 13:13) Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

(Hebrews 13:14) For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

(Hebrews 13:15) Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing to His name.

(Hebrews 13:16) But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

(Hebrews 13:17) Obey those in authority over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

(Hebrews 13:18) Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.

(Hebrews 13:19) But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you more quickly.

(Hebrews 13:20) Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

(Hebrews 13:21) make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! It is Done!

(Psalms 23:1) Jehovah is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

(Psalms 23:2) He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me to waters of rest.

(Psalms 23:3) He restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness because of His great name.

(Psalms 23:4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

(Psalms 23:5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

(Psalms 23:6) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah forever.
