(1 Thessalonians 5:1) But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.
(1 Thessalonians 5:2) For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
(1 Thessalonians 5:3) For when they say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall by no means escape.
(1 Thessalonians 5:4) But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
(1 Thessalonians 5:5) You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
(1 Thessalonians 5:6) Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
(1 Thessalonians 5:7) For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.
(1 Thessalonians 5:8) But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
(1 Thessalonians 5:9) For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
(1 Thessalonians 5:10) who died for us, that whether we watch or sleep, we should live together with Him.
(1 Thessalonians 5:11) Therefore encourage each other and build up one another, just as you also are doing.
(1 Thessalonians 5:12) And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
(1 Thessalonians 5:13) and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
(1 Thessalonians 5:14) Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the faint-hearted, uphold the weak, be longsuffering towards all.
(1 Thessalonians 5:15) See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
(1 Thessalonians 5:16) Rejoice always,
(1 Thessalonians 5:17) pray without ceasing,
(1 Thessalonians 5:18) in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
(1 Thessalonians 5:19) Do not quench the Spirit.

(Luke 2:36) And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;
(Luke 2:37) And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
(Luke 2:38) And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spoke of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

(Jeremiah 1:14) And Jehovah said to me, Out of the north an evil will be unleashed upon all the inhabitants of the land.
(Jeremiah 1:15) For behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says Jehovah; and they shall come, and they shall each one set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah.
(Jeremiah 1:16) And I will pronounce My judgments against them regarding all their evil, those who have forsaken Me, and burned incense to other gods, and bowed down to the works of their own hands.
(Jeremiah 1:17) You therefore gird up your loins, and arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed at their faces, lest I shame you before them.
(Jeremiah 1:18) For behold, I have made you a fortified city this day, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its rulers, against its priests, and against the people of the land.

(Revelation 20:4) And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not done homage to the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

(Revelation 20:5) But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
(Revelation 20:6) Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no authority, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

(Revelation 21:15) And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.
(Revelation 21:16) And the city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.
(Revelation 21:17) And he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
(Revelation 21:18) And the construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like pure glass.
(Revelation 21:19) And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
(Revelation 21:20) the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
(Revelation 21:21) And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
(Revelation 21:22) And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

(Revelation 21:23) And the city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it; and the Lamb is its light.

(Revelation 21:24) And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.
